Firstly, a lot of people say "I don't remember my dreams" or "I don't dream". Well, the news is that you do dream, many times, every night. It's a scientific fact. It's remembering them that can be the tricky part. One method that may help you to remember your dreams easier is to have a dream diary. Nothing fancy, just an exercise book and a pen placed right next to your bed. When you first wake up and can remember a dream, write it down immediately. It doesn't have to be neat writing, just legible. Another way if you really have trouble remembering, is to set your alarm for the middle of your sleeping time. e.g. if you go to bed at 11pm, set it for 3am. Often, when we wake from that sleep, we'll have been in a dream. So write it down. Then go back to sleep and read it in the morning. Only do this occasionally, as breaking your sleep too often or at the same time every night can cause sleep problems. One other way I find useful is just before going to sleep, ask your guides or angels that if they have a message for you, to let you remember your dream vividly when you first wake up. Just make sure the book and pen are handy!
In my experience there are three types
of dream you can have.
1.
Rehashing the days events
2.
Wish fulfilment
3.
Messages from your guides or visions of the future
People often acknowledge the first and second type of dream, but not the third. But I believe messages can come through our dreams. Which is why I encourage everyone to keep a dream diary. Not only message dreams can be helpful. Sometimes our subconscious uses dreams to work through problems, and an answer may come to a problem in a dream. Sometimes, in my experience, a solution can come for a problem you weren't even aware you were worrying about.
How to decipher dreams? Well firstly, I don't believe in dream books. Basically because we all have different surroundings and experiences and as such we develop our own individual symbolism. Like the colour red for one person may mean blood, while for another it may mean fire, or for someone else it may mean a certain person from their childhood who always wore red. Only a few things seem fairly common, such as dreaming of being naked and embarrassed often means there's a fear of being vulnerable. Sometimes dreaming of a certain person may mean the actual person, but it could also be that person represents some aspect of your life (like dreaming your boss dies may mean you hate work). But on the whole, I would say that you are the best person to interpret your dreams and what that symbolism means to you. Close friends can sometimes help with dream interpretation if they know you very well.
So start a dream diary, and over time it
can help clarify a few things.
